May 2025

At the opening ceremony of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) 2025, held at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) headquarters in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Mr. Solomon Ewanehi, CEO of Solewant Group, delivered a stirring goodwill message that underscored the vital role of indigenous innovation, institutional support, and strategic collaboration in shaping Nigeria's energy future.

Solewant Group CEO Champions Indigenous Excellence at NOGOF 2025

Ewanehi's remarks set the tone for a gathering aimed at driving investment and production growth through indigenous capacity development. With this year's theme, “Shaping a Sustainable Future for Nigeria's Oil and Gas Industry Through Indigenous Capacity Development,” the CEO’s message served both as a celebration of progress and a call to action.

Celebrating a Quarter-Century of Growth

Reflecting on Solewant Group's 25-year journey, Ewanehi recounted the company’s humble beginnings—anchored by a bold ten-year roadmap to become a national leader in pipe coating technology. That early vision, powered by determination and a commitment to innovation, has evolved into a diversified industrial conglomerate comprising five subsidiaries:

1. Solewant Nigeria Limited (SNL)

2. Solewant Specialty Protective Coatings and Paints Limited (SSPC)

3. Pipes and Metals Industries Limited (PMI)

4. Field Joint Coatings Limited (FJCL)

5. Solewant Energy Training Institute (SETI)
