Land Rover's Range Rover line of the moment the and Rover's 'Range Rover' line of SUVs is, at this moment, the equivalent of a Rolex Yacht-Master 4-piece watch collection. Each model in the range from the Evoque to the Emperor-Size Range Rover Autobiography-is enveloped by a coherent design ideology, yet looking uniquely on-point that they make for a tantalising choice in their respective segment. The Range Rover Velar too falls in-line within this philosophy as a hard-to-miss product in its category, especially when considering comfort and how the car makes you feel like royalty on wheels.

THE SUV THAT STANDS OUT

This is the updated Velar. That might not reflect immediately on first viewing as the updates are subtle on the outside. There is a slight change to the bumpers. The redesigned headlights are now smarter LEDs that, along with the taillights, have been slimmed down making the exterior look a lot sporty and streamlined. This is the SUV that can actually stand out in the crowd, especially in this shade of Zadar Grey. Its minimal yet headturning exterior is a precursor to the change on the inside.
