Humble Beginnings and the Birth of Nemichand Bamalwa & Sons

Late Shri Nemichand Bamalwa, hailing from a traditional Marwari family in Ladnun, Rajasthan, arrived in Calcutta in 1962 with little more than determination and a vision. Starting a modest jewellery business in Burra Bazar, he worked tirelessly to establish a name. His commitment to excellence laid the foundation for a brand that would soon become synonymous with fine jewellery in India.

In 1987, Nemichand Bamalwa, alongside his four visionary sons Madanlal, Hansraj, Bachhraj and Bajranglal formalised their presence in the jewellery industry by founding Nemichand Bamalwa & Sons. Their pioneering spirit led to the introduction of 22/22K gold jewellery. Prior to this, traditional soldering practices often compromised gold purity, resulting in a loss of value for buyers. The family's commitment to transparency and integrity set a new industry standard, earning them the trust and loyalty of customers.
