Cabinet Door Maker Views Challenge as the Doorway to Growth

Based in Ashland, Ohio, Cabinet Restylers provides custom kitchen cabinetry to the remodeling industry across the United States. Along with earning a spot on this year's Inc. 5000, the company ranked No. 56 on the magazine's list of the fastest-growing businesses in the manufacturing industry.

The family-owned business got its start in 1967 as a retail cabinet restyling provider but no longer sells directly to homeowners. Nevertheless, Eric Thiel, who took over as president 27 years ago, says: "We have the end user in mind every day."

Besides making sure everyone at Cabinet Restylers stays laser-focused on satisfying those who will have the products installed in their kitchens, Thiel points to another key reason for the company's rapid rise.
