Saudi Billionaires Back Among the World's Richest on Forbes' World's Billionaires List

After a seven-year hiatus, the richest business people from the Middle East's second-largest economy are once again being featured on the Forbes' World's Billionaires list.
Forbes' World's Billionaires list for 2025 features Saudi billionaires again for the first time since 2017, with 15 Saudi billionaires featuring on this year's list, up from 10 in 2017—the highest number among any country in the Middle East, with a combined net worth of $55.8 billion. Five of the 15 billionaires work in the healthcare sector, four own stakes in diversified businesses, and three are in finance and investments.
Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Al Saud (the only Saudi returnee to the list) is the richest Saudi on the list and the world's richest Arab businessman. With an estimated net worth of $16.5 billion, he holds stakes in several high-profile companies through Saudi-listed Kingdom Holding, including Four Seasons. Through personal investments and Kingdom Holding, Alwaleed has invested in both Elon Musk's firms, X and xAI.
