Food & Trees for Africa recently announced the upcoming EduPlant finals competition, which will recognise and reward the best efforts in nurturing school permaculture food gardens within the EduPlant community.
This event not only showcases the achievements of learners, educators, and communities but also inspires others to embark on their own journeys towards a greener, more sustainable future.
EduPlant winners, chosen by an expert panel of judges, will be announced shortly.
The EduPlant Programme, driven by a consortium of educators, environmentalists and community leaders, seeks to address the pressing global challenges of climate change, food sovereignty and ecological conservation.
By placing sustainability at the heart of its educational approach, the programme aims to empower learners and communities to tackle food insecurity and malnutrition.
