Husqvarna launches new range of demolition robots

The top priority when designing Husqvarna Construction's new range of demolition robots was safety, says Lionel Zietsman, national sales manager at the company.

Husqvarna Construction recently launched its new range of demolition robots, which aim to help farmers get their demolition work done faster and safely.

According to Lionel Zietsman, national sales manager at Husqvarna Construction, the company's four new DXR models offer an average of 20% power increase over previous models. However, Zietsman says, improving operator safety was the company's top priority.

"The new machines have functionality that optimises available power in a way that allows work to continue at high power levels even if the task may be tougher due to the circumstances, such as in warm environments," Zietsman says.

In addition, a long-distance remote connection keeps the user safer and clear of any potential risks. "Our new DXR models are third-party certified in terms of safety," says Zietsman. "An all-new remote control unit makes precision operation easier than ever and enables the user to work in challenging areas with a remote-control range of up to 100m."
