DATA-AI INSIGHTS CAN BRIDGE LEARNING GAPS
DataQuest
|March,2023
A classroom is only "smart" when students have a voice, feel involved in the learning process, and have a twoway conversation with their teachers. This keeps students engaged and makes sure that every single student's voice is heard

The education sector in India has been undergoing a transformation in recent years, with a growing emphasis on technology-driven solutions. However, the adoption of technology in the education sector has not been without its challenges. Limited access to technology in certain areas, a lack of technical expertise among educators, and concerns around privacy and security have all posed significant obstacles. In this context, startups like TagHive are at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that address these challenges and provide accessible, user-friendly technology for students and educators alike. With the potential to significantly improve the quality of education for millions of students across the country, the growth of EdTech in India is a trend that is likely to continue in the coming years.
With the government of India's increased focus on digital initiatives, such as Digital India and the National Education Policy 2020, the stage is set for further growth and innovation in the EdTech sector. TagHive, the education technology startup that claims to have launched the first Bluetooth-based clicker solution for K-12 schools, has been making waves in India's education sector. Founded in 2017 as a product of Samsung C-Lab, TagHive has been on a rapid growth trajectory, expanding from just 10 schools to over 1,800 schools across India in the past year alone. Its flagship product, Class Saathi, is a data-driven assessment tool that allows for greater accountability and student engagement by providing real-time performance tracking for educators.
The company's pioneering solutions are already aligned with the New Education Policy's objectives of microlearning and continuous assessment and are proving to be a game-changer for K-12 students across India.
