TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION Antony John VS, (innovation hub director - Asia, Oceania & The Americas), Schueco India: We have applied the double diamond principle of design thinking effectively to bring about innovation. One such output is the innovative upgrade of the sliding system AS ICD 50.NI. The current need for affordable, high-performance tall slim sliders with manual operation has been identified, developed and launched. It caters to the increase in high rainfall witnessed due to climate change and has an exception water tightness up to 900 Pa at 3.4 L/m2.min. The architectural trend is also fulfilled with a max height of 4.5m and a maximum vent weight of 500kg which can be operated manually with 60~80N opening force and a moving force of 30N. 26 variants are available catering to all possible scenarios.
