Envision 2025 by IIT Madras Research Park and IESA was an eye-opener in more ways than one
-
The climate crisis demands immediate action and collective effort across countries, industries, and communities with local, indigenous innovations and advanced, worldwide technological advancements coming together to achieve a sustainable, net-zero future. To accelerate this momentum, IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP), India's leading deep-tech innovation and startup incubation ecosystem, and India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), in association with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) hosted Envision 2025 for its third edition from January 30 to February 1, 2025. With the theme for this edition, 'Ground Zero for Net-Zero', the event featured expert sessions, panel discussions, deep-dive workshops, and technology showcases uniting grassroots initiatives and global stakeholders in a combined call to action.
The event was inaugurated by IITM Director Professor V Kamakoti, alongside IITM Research Park Group CEO Nat Malupillai, IITMRP Professor-in-Charge Radhakrishnan G Pillai, IITMRP Head of Energy Program Anson Sando, IITMRP head of marketing Reema Saha, and IESA founder & chairperson Rahul Walawalkar.
