Architecture is a dynamic field continually shaped by technological advancements, notably through the introduction of Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM involves creating and managing digital representations of both the physical and functional aspects of spaces. This innovative process facilitates rapid design iterations and explorations using parametric modelling, enables realistic 3D visualization for enhanced client communication, supports early design analysis for energy efficiency and structural integrity, and automates construction documentation to minimize errors and ensure consistency.

Another key feature of BIM is parametric modeling where architects create smart 3D models which can be easily altered. Rapid design iterations are made possible by this feature which allows architects to test different designs in a small amount of time. Moreover, it ensures that drawings are more accurate and detailed hence minimizing chances of error or inconsistencies.
