Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's global ambitions, AI, green energy, and how Hyderabad is positioning itself as a premier business and innovation hub
REVANTH REDDY, Chief Minister of Telangana, discusses his state's investment success, global ambitions, and economic strategies at Davos. In this exclusive interview with Business Today, he outlines key developments in green energy, AI, and defence investments. Edited excerpts:
I want you to account for what happened from the last time you came to Davos.
So, 14 companies-they have done MoUs (memorandums of understanding) with the Telangana state government. 18 projects are in the pipeline.
Do you feel there is a competition between CBN (Chandrababu Naidu) and Revanth?
No, no. I don't want to compete with the neighbouring states. Because Andhra Pradesh is my sibling. Why should I compete with Andhra Pradesh or Maharashtra or Karnataka? I want to compete with New York, Dubai or Singapore.
What is your pitch to global investors? Why come to Telangana?
