From a humble 1979 trading start, VLSM evolved into an integrated textile innovator with global reach.
Vishnu Laxmi Silk Mills (VLSM) provides the best range of poly/viscose fabrics like, suiting fabrics, specialised TR fabrics, shirts fabrics, cotton fabric, kurta fabric, lycra fabrics, wool blended fabrics, linens fabrics & mens cotton trouser fabric with effective & timely delivery.
VLSM’s journey began in Kalbadevi, Mumbai in 1979 from a trading-driven business into a fully integrated textile manufacturer. Setting up the Tarapur production unit in 2004 was a turning point, allowing them to take full control of quality and innovation. In 2018, it entered the export market, expanding the presence as a leading producer for blended fabrics. More recently, it launched its ready-to-wear garment line.
“With each step we are expanding our vision beyond fabrics. Our focus has always been on evolving with time while staying true to what we do best, creating quality blended fabrics that balance tradition with innovation,” says Avadh Shah, Director, Vishnu Laxmi Silk Mills.
Maintaining Quality and Innovation Across Fabrics
Vishnu Laxmi Silk Mills bring in the experts from the industry, each specialising in different fabric style. Their experience, combined with the in-house rigorous quality checks, which happens right from the yarn stage to the final finish, ensures that the standards remain consistent no matter how diverse the range is.
“Our linen collection, for example, features carefully crafted linen-polyester blends that balance comfort with longevity. Polywool, on the other hand, is our newest venture, introduced about a year ago. It's still in its early stages, but we're learning fast and have seen an especially positive response in international markets,” says Shah.
The brand has been working with Reliance, Raymonds, Arvind, Pantaloons, Cantabil.
