During an interaction with Vidushi, Sriram Kannan, Founder and CEO, Routematic discussed how the company is revolutionizing corporate transportation with AI-driven, eco-friendly solutions that enhance commuter experience, boost productivity, and reduce carbon footprints, while expanding its reach globally.
Can you share the inspiration behind founding Routematic, and how the vision for the company has evolved since its inception in 2013?
Routematic began in 2013 with the vision of providing paperless employee transport automation solutions for corporates in India, featuring cutting edge AI based route planning and tracking solutions. What began as a hardware centric solution (tracking device, RFID, locked mobile phones and panic button) has now evolved into a fully cloud based IoT and mobile BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) solution. Since 2018 Routematic has evolved by launching an initiative to not just solve for the demand side (corporates) but also solve the problem for the driver ecosystem as well, and has launched innovative AI driven cab dispatch solutions that guarantees higher assured revenue per driver.
With Routematic’s use of big-data analytics, ML/AI, and real-time traffic data, how have these technologies improved the efficiency and reliability of employee transportation?
Routematic leverages advanced AI/ML algorithms to optimize pooled employee pickup and drop-off routes, significantly reducing commute times and ensuring punctual arrivals.
