Chief Secretary of Rajasthan discusses priority sectors poised for future investments in the state.

In an exclusive interview with Businessworld, Shri Sudhansh Pant, Chief Secretary of Rajasthan Government, outlines the state's robust progress in implementing MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024—where commitments exceeded ₹35 lakh crore. From creating industrial land banks to focusing on balanced regional development, strengthening logistics infrastructure, and expanding renewable energy, Pant lays out the state's roadmap for achieving its Viksit Rajasthan 2047 vision. He also discusses priority sectors poised for future investments, Rajasthan's preparedness to tackle summer challenges, and the government's strategic push for inclusive and sustainable growth.
The Rajasthan government has been actively implementing the MoU’s signed during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024. Could you share the current status of these MoUs in terms of investment inflow and actual groundwork by investors?
Under the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, the state has attracted investment MoUs worth Rs. 35 lakh crore, out of which Rs. 2.25 lakh crore has already been grounded by investors.
To facilitate investors, the RAJ NIVESH portal has been strengthened as a single-point online interface and a time-bound clearance system, serving as a one-stop platform for information, registration, approvals, and tracking of clearances. The portal ensures a transparent, electronic-based system for online submission and tracking of applications, including e-payments. Additionally, it provides updated information on relevant rules, regulations, orders, policy initiatives, and schemes to guide investors.
Investors also have access to an Investors Interface on the portal, where they can view real-time updates on their MoUs, comment, punch grievances and provide feedback on their applications.
