Let's face it, sailing's hard enough work without having to work while you're sailing

The most horrific thing I ever read in PBO - apart from every episode of Learning From Experience - was a piece a couple of months ago by my chum Rupert Holmes called 'Work and Sail' about setting up your boat as an office.
Of course, working from home, or WFH as it's now known, is supposed to be a new thing, but I've been doing it for over 25 years, and it's saved me a fortune in clothes; although with the arrival of Zoom video conferencing I had to splash out on a shirt and tie. Nevertheless I'm gratified that my pioneering efforts in working from home are now catching on with train drivers and baggage handlers, among others, which in turn has led to even more people working from home.
