ONCE DIME A DOZEN, THE XD-XF IS NOW A RARITY
THE FALCON was once a common sight on Australian roads, but the local Ford XD-XF generation in particular seems to have vanished off the face of the earth. Clearly cars do exist, but compared to the numbers of similar vintage Commodores, time has taken its toll with many succumbing to the rust fairies.
With several now desirable XD and XE ESP versions gracing the pages of this fine magazine over the years, including the very first road prototype XD Phase 5, we were excited to finally get our hands on the uncommon XE Grand Prix turbo.
