I HAVE a 1993 Nissan 180SX that I've converted to an S13 Silvia front end, to make what's often referred to as a Sileighty.

I HAVE a 1993 Nissan 180SX that I've converted to an S13 Silvia front end, to make what's often referred to as a Sileighty.
I've been building this car since 2021-it's one of those builds that has completely snowballed. I've wanted the build to be as unique as possible, with the goal of being a seven-second all-rounder. I want to be able to use this rig in drag-and-drives, no-prep, 'strip events and roll racing, and just get out there and enjoy the great state the car scene is in. The car has had a Barra conversion with a sleeved block and Nitto billet crank and rotating assembly. The Barra has a ported head, and all the other necessary bits were assembled by Joe from Turello Racing. It also has a custom exhaust manifold with a Pulsar 8894 hanging off it, and a Hypertune inlet manifold on the cold side. The transmission is a Paul Rogers Powerglide. Customisation from Reaper Performance includes a flat firewall, and a back-half job with a chassis clip, Mood Motorsports 9in, and room to fit 31x13in slicks. It's been painted in Porsche Nato Olive by Midnight Kustom Fabrication. I'm hoping to have the car up and going by the fourth quarter of 2025.”
