THE MOTORCYCLE CALLED LIFE

Life seems to be a continuing onslaught of crossroads. And my mind is rather empty these days. Okay, the latter's not a greatly unusual thing, I admit. But the former is increasingly common, and I haven't yet found a way to deal with it; can't really figure out why, but it is the way it is. Perhaps it'll sink in eventually and I'll be able to tell you all about it someday. In the meanwhile, I shall resort to one of my advanced daydreaming... erm, introspective techniques — drawing parallels between life and motorcycles. Heck, to me, life is a motorcycle.

You're moving forward, driven by the rear wheel — the past. You direct the front wheel — the future. And the 'bars are the present. Seems quite apt, doesn't it? Life isn't something that happens on its own — it's the ride that you choose to go on. You do it not to sound cool or anything, but because it's all you know, hopelessly and otherwise. It's all because your hands on the 'bars is always the best view in the long run.
