The energy industry is undergoing a significant transformation with a growing focus on sustainability and decarbonisation. How do you envision Dastur Energy adapting to these changes and contributing to the global efforts towards a low-carbon future?

Dastur Energy has been a leading solution provider across the hard-to-abate industries in this space. Given that fossil fuel consumption across these industries is anticipated to remain for the foreseeable future, our focus has been to design solutions that combine CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage) technologies with aspects of the Scale, Market need, Techno-economics, Policies and Regulatory considerations to craft tailored solutions that not only address the Carbon emission problem, but also ensure a positive business impact. This requires us to evaluate each scenario and tailor the overall solution to address each case. It is our firm belief that while the world transitions to alternate sources like solar, wind, tidal and other renewable energy streams, a complete cutover to these will take a long time due to scale and economic considerations. Therefore, developing and deploying holistic solutions for industries such as Cement, Steel, Power, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemicals remains crucial. Our integrated, systems-driven approach will continue to power sustainable, commercially viable solutions.
