As a startup offering enzyme-based, eco-friendly solutions, how do you identify market gaps and convert them into successful, scalable products?

At Biotic, we identify market gaps by addressing the environmental and health risks posed by chemical-based solutions, especially in aquaculture, where humans are the end consumers. A major concern is the use of antibiotics and chemical fertilisers for shrimp health, pathogen control, and managing diseases like EHP, which ultimately harm both aquatic life and human health. Recognising this, we developed the EMO Series, enzyme-based, organic products that replace antibiotics with probiotics. These solutions outperform traditional chemical alternatives while ensuring safety for humans and the ecosystem. By promoting sustainable practices and scalable solutions, we create market opportunities that foster a healthier, greener future.
