The redesigned 2024 Tacoma pickup is available in eight versions, including the new Trailhunter and TRD PreRunner.

No matter when you're reading this, it's Taco Tuesday. And the fourth-generation Toyota Tacoma is fresh and new. This total makeover brings new sheet metal and a fully redesigned frame that (in most versions) employs a coil-spring rear axle. The engine and transmission lineups are new too, and the front track of even the base model is 2.6 inches wider. Elsewhere, the top-dog TRD Pro is joined by a new Trailhunter that's optimized for off-road exploration.

The Tacoma retains a full lineup, including a crew cab with either a five- or six-foot bed, and the lower trims offer an extended cab with the long bed. As before, Toyota offers the Tacoma in SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro trims. Joining the roster are the TRD PreRunner that slots in above the SR5 and the overlanding-inspired Trailhunter.
