Porsche Panamera HIGHS: Ample motivation, fun in every corner, surprising fuel economy. LOWS: Grip levels drop slightly, big price tag, dumb touchscreen vent controls. VERDICT: The bottom rung, but you'd never know it.
THERE ARE A LOT of trick new performance features in the upper echelons of the 2024 Porsche Panamera lineup, but even the entry-level version is a high-tech weapon. If you think it's going to be some sort of bargain, though, LOL. LMAO, even.
The third-gen Panamera looks a little different outside; there's greater change within the roomy cabin. Three screens (one of those is optional and for the passenger) span a rejiggered dashboard with a new push-button start on the left, a weird new gearchange protrusion inherited from the Taycan on the right, and smudgeattracting gloss-black trim all over. Moving the vents still requires the use of a touchscreenwhich is still dumb.
