HAVING A PERFECT START IS ONE thing, but repeating that perfection is a rare feat. Six-time premier class champion Marc Márquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) and his brother, Alex (Gresini Racing), continued the Márquez show in the 2025 MotoGP Argentina Grand Prix weekend by qualifying first and second.
It was also a historic moment as Marc Márquez's 1:36.917 lap-time was a new track record, the first 1:36-minute lap around the Termas circuit. The bigger surprise, however, was Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda LCR) setting a sensational lap to qualify in third, Honda's first front row since 2023 and a much needed sign that Honda are making tangible strides back to the top.
