The world premiere of the 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class was held in Stuttgart, inside the Mercedes-Benz Museum - a venue that feels less like a building and more like a timeline of human ambition on wheels. The crowd was exactly what you'd expect: global media, industry partners, influencers, and that unmistakable mix of people who know they're watching something important.

Add to that the presence of Roger Federer, Sam Smith- the very famous English Song writer, Ola Källenius (Chairman & CEO of Mercedes-Benz), and Gorden Wagener - Mercedes' design chief, marking the twilight of an extraordinary 30-year chapter - and the evening carried a quiet sense of occasion. Not loud. Not flashy. Very... S-Class.

And then the car rolled in. Refined in every detail, as Mercedes insists. And for once, it isn't marketing poetry.

A FAMILIAR SHAPE, NOW WITH MORE PRESENCE

At first glance, it's still unmistakably an S-Class. But look closer and the updates start speaking. The grille is now around 20 percent larger and, for the first time, illuminated. The bonnet star can also light up, because subtle flexing is clearly outdated.
