SKODA PAVES WAY FOR NEW ELECTRIC ESTATE

Concept previews the next-gen Octavia and will be unveiled next month

Skoda has given a first glimpse of the electric estate concept that it will reveal at next month's Munich motor show.

Named Vision O, the show car will give clues to the next-generation electric Octavia, which is due to arrive by the end of the decade as the first Skoda to sit on the Volkswagen Group's new SSP EV architecture.

The official preview image shows a silhouette that stays true to the general shape of the current car but features distinctive new light signatures and sharper edging in line with Skoda's new 'Modern Solid' design language.
