The Urban will be sold alongside a refreshed version of the existing 4, which starts at £29,995 and gains an interior that’s claimed by MG to bring a “major technology and quality upgrade”.

Although the two electric hatchbacks share a name and have similar dimensions – the Urban is actually larger – there are significant differences in their design and technical makeup.
The new addition to the UK lineup has been on sale in China since last year, but as the second-generation version of the MG 4.
