New F Sport trim ushers in fresh tech
THE FLAGSHIP OF the RZ lineup and the first Lexus EV to receive an F Sport makeover, the new RZ 550e is also the inaugural model in the Japanese firm's lineup to receive a sophisticated steer-by-wire system and a simulated manual drive shift.
At 402bhp, power is up on the dual-motor 500e, but range from the same 77kWh battery is down to 280 miles - significantly less than the dual-motor Volvo EX40's 323 miles.
In addition, the 550e F Sport gets sportier bodywork, including 20in wheels, bumper air ducts, a rear diffuser and a rear spoiler.
