KTM finally launched the latest edition of the 390 Adventure in India, and we recently had a chance to test it in Goa. Is it all one will ever need for touring, off-roading, and city commutes?

SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE

In India, the ‘Orange Army’ is strong in terms of numbers. However, most know KTM has a brand that sells the fabled 390 Duke, a motorcycle renowned for offering maximum bang for your buck in terms of performance, handling and unabashed design language, that’s meant to evoke a reaction. Although, the same couldn’t be said about the 390 Adventure that came along some time back.

imageIt didn’t feel up to the mark and felt like a different iteration of the Duke rather than a separate entity of its own. To address this issue, KTM has come up with an all-new 390 Adventure, and on paper at least, things look on the up-and-up. But, proving things on paper compared to practical application is two completely different things altogether. So, can this all-new motorcycle be all things to all men or women? Before we get to answering that question, let’s talk about all that’s changed on the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure.

imageThe Austrian brand has made a considerable effort to update the design language. The previous iteration had begun to look slightly dated, but this new one draws greater inspiration from the KTM’s Dakar-derived. motorcycle. It has an all-new LED projector headlamp that’s stacked vertically, and the front-end has greater heft than the earlier 390 Adventure.
