A well-deserved CHANGE
Auto Today
|September 2024
Ever since Its launch, the Hyundai Alcazar been doing well in the Indian market. Now though, things have gotten spicier as Hyundai has updated the Alcazar. So what all has changed and does it make a difference? Let's find out
-
Let's begin by saying that the update comes in the form of a mid-life facelift and this means it is wrong to expect drastic changes. Yet the new design philosophy of Hyundai which has been recently seen on the Hyundai Exter and Hyundai Creta makes the Hyundai Alcazar look rather different. The new H-shaped LED DRLS look cool and they are connected end to end. The grille is new too and it is not the same seen on the Creta. The silver skid plate contrasts well with this new colour which is called Robust Emerald. It is a dark green actually and at times and especially in the dark, it has a black undertone. Overall the colour looks good on the Alcazar. In profile, one can spot the new 18in alloys and also the new design for the roof rails. At the back, the connected tail lights look very cool and so does the new spoiler which comes with an integrated stop light. There is a new twin-tip exhaust as well. It will also be apt to mention here that the new Alcazar is loaded with ADAS Level 2 and hence one can spot numerous cameras and paraphernalia mounted all across the exterior.
When it comes to dimensions, the new Alcazar is 60mm longer, 10mm wider and 35mm taller than the outgoing version. The wheelbase at 2,760mm remains unchanged.
