Anu Suraj is a name that echoes in the social ramparts of Kerala's social scene. She is a mental health professional and a certified child safety educator (PSE) who is passionate in empowering the next generation and finetuning them to be good human beings.

She is an active crusader, mentor and cofounder of a global non-profit organisation, which works towards Child Protection, Child Safety, and Upholding Child Rights. She is currently consulting in TGHC. Inc - Bangalore and she has her own healing space, AatmaSaukhya Wellness and Counseling Center based in Cochin. She also functions in the advisory panel of State Government's Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission as a Counsellor and Life Coach.

She is an MBA and Masters in Psychology, PG diploma in clinical counseling, international certification in child mental health and child psychology, and certification in yoga therapy. She is trained in CBT, REBT, inner child therapy modalities and is an expert in mindfulness-based stress reduction interventions. She is currently the Vice-president of Kerala Mental Health Council, & member of Kerala Clinical Counselors Association
