MUSEUM EXPO CELEBRATES HERITAGE

The National Museum in New Delhi, one of the country's premier cultural institutions, played a central role in the festivities.

This year, like always on May 18th, museums around the world celebrated International Museum Day. This special occasion aims to raise awareness about the importance of museums in societies and their role in preserving and showcasing cultural heritage. This year India joined the global celebrations, bringing out its rich and diverse cultural heritage through an exposition of a series of beautiful events and exhibitions at Pragati Maidan in Delhi which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. India, known for its vibrant history and cultural tapestry, boasts a myriad of museums that provide a glimpse into its glorious past. At the International Museum Expo, this year, these museums came together to create a fascinating journey through time and space, offering visitors a unique look into Indi
