Corridor House 2.0 by i2a Architects is a private residence located in Thrissur, Kerala, India that transforms the enclosure into an instrument of light, using a linear corridor, perforated walls, & inward facing courtyards to balance privacy, openness, and everyday living.

It's carefully designed lighting accentuates the perforated wall, transforming it into a glowing sculptural presence along the highway.

Set against the ceaseless motion of a busy highway in Thrissur, Corridor House 2.0 reveals itself as a quiet, inward looking sanctuary. The site, sloping gently and constantly exposed to dust, noise, and movement, demanded an architectural response that went beyond shelter. For the client, an education consultant seeking refuge for his family, the brief was simple yet profound. He wanted a home that felt completely personal, protected, and calm. From this singular desire emerged a residence that redefines privacy while remaining open to light, air, and life.
