Alpaca Evolution is, as the name suggests, all about Alpacas and 2025 saw us bring our faith in the exceptional qualities of the fibre to the forefront.

Fibre production has always been integral to what we do and the aims of our breeding programme over the last 20 years.
In 2023 we established a wonderful spinners group which has seen some exceptionally talented ladies come together every few weeks at Alpaca Evolution for a morning of coffee, chat, laughter and of course spinning. Whilst spinning is at the heart of the group, we also get to see some amazing knitting, weaving and crochet projects. There is an incredible amount of talent outside of the commercial fibre industry and the imagination and ingenuity of guild members seems to know no bounds. They, along with our own group, have really opened our eyes to the possibilities.
