While visiting Chagrin River Park in Willoughby, Ohio, I enjoyed watching beautiful birds like this blue jay forage through the snow for food.

Mixed in with a flock of cedar waxwings, this regal Bohemian waxwing was a special visitor and a hit in town.

It was photographed in Yarmouth Port in Cape Cod while its flock feasted on these berries nearby.

Bohemian waxwings find their way into areas with an abundance of berry-producing trees.

The snowy owl is one of the most fascinating birds to photograph.

I took this photo because snowy owls are beautiful and their eyes are mesmerizing. I enjoy observing them hunt, but they are even more lovely in flight. These owls are a highlight of the winter season here in Ohio.
