The urge to bring animals into our homes is a common phenomenon, but not everyone is fond of pets. Recent research has shown that love for animals also has a genetic basis. If your parents are love animals, it is most likely you will do the same. At times, whatever their upbringing, some people seem predisposed to seek out the company of animals, others less so. Buddy Life brings to you the tale of Lara Pereira, an animal communicator. She narrates her story how she was drawn to the four-legged beings and how she has had a fruitful journey till now.

Iam Lara, a 20-year old who has dedicated my life to the betterment of animals. As a little girl of five years, I was very fascinated with nature and the animals around me. I would go around my society playing with all the stray cats and dogs there.

Back then, we could not have pets at home due to the lack of space and time to devote to them. However, that didn't stop me from caring for the ones outside of my home. My mother, ever so supportive, would help by cooking meals and coming along with me to feed them every single night.
