Ever since she was a small child, Jamie Lynn Spears has lived in the shadow of her mega-famous sister – though it hasn’t stopped her trying to grab some of the limelight.

But Jamie Lynn’s recent comments revealing top-secret details about 38-year-old Britney’s life have riled the pop star so much she isn’t on speaking terms with her sibling – again.

Sources tell Woman’s Day exclusively that Britney has accused Jamie Lynn, 29, who is starring in Netflix’s new rom-com Sweet Magnolias, of leveraging her private pain to boost her profile.

PERSONAL ANGUISH

The trigger, says our source, is when Jamie Lynn casually announced during a publicity interview for her new show that Britney had left her Thousand Oaks mansion to isolate during the pandemic with her Louisiana-based family.

“Britney was like, ‘I want to come home, I don’t want to be by myself out here’ [in LA] because all of her family’s pretty much here,” says Jamie Lynn. “So she was able to come home for almost two weeks or so.”

At face value, it seemed like a fairly innocuous statement – but it left Britney bitterly angry, say friends.
