You’d think that putting a house on the market with the claim to fame that it was where the King of Rock’n’Roll romanced his wife would be a major selling point, but that’s apparently not the case for Elvis Presley’s honeymoon hideaway.

The stunning mid-century mansion in California’s Palm Springs – a weekend desert playground for Hollywood’s rich and famous – was forever etched into the music history books when Elvis and his bride-to-be Priscilla Beaulieu chose it for the location of their wedding.

They ditched the idea at the last minute after the media uncovered their secret ceremony plans, and instead eloped for a quickie wedding in Las Vegas.
