Why You’ll Love... Florence
Classic novels and films were the inspiration behind my trip to Florence. we took a note out of em Forster’s book and stayed in a lovely ‘room with a view’ of the duomo cathedral.
Where to go
Florence is a city bursting with beautiful things to see, yet the duomo is undoubtedly the most awe-inspiring. the Gothic cathedral boasts an exquisite, ornate exterior featuring biblical scenes. the sheer size of the building is mind-boggling, too, considering it was completed in 1436.
