Creativity is within all of us, but being able to take time to consciously connect to our creativity isn’t always easy. It can be hard to shake off comparisons, insecurities and idealistic goals, so here are a few strategies to help you discover creative stimuli:
BE CURIOUS
If you’re actively curious, you’ll open yourself up to lots of new observations and experiences. You’ll start to see so much more in everyday objects and activities because curiosity exercises your imagination and feeds ideas. It’s not just about what exists – it’s also about what could exist. Your creative strength lies in your power to question and it’s about interest over fear. Perhaps walk down a street you’ve never explored and consciously be aware of everything you look at.
USE YOUR SENSES
