Q I’ve heard people make money by filling in online surveys, can you tell me how it works?

A There are loads of survey sites, one popular one is Branded Surveys (surveys.gobranded.com). You sign up, then collect points for every survey you complete. Once you accrue enough, you can redeem them in the form of gift cards or cash via PayPal. Make sure you read reviews and T&Cs first and find out if you need to report any extra income, too (gov.uk/government/ organisations/hm-revenue-customs).
