WE were so in love, but everything changed when we got married. It started with him telling me to limit the time I spent with my friends because I was now married. I did that, but that was not enough for him. He then told me to stop wearing trousers and only wear long dresses. I complied because I loved him and wanted our marriage to work. I didn’t see that I was losing myself in the process.
