A portable home entertainment projector allows you to watch your favourite shows on a large screen or wall, and there are many models to choose from a few brands. The Optoma GT1080HDR is a compact Full HD multimedia projector that is also compatible with 4K signals.

The GT1080HDR is traditional-style DLP projector with a shorter throw distance than most similar projectors in the market. The device has a simple design with the control panel on top including a focus wheel. It has a bulbous front element to facilitate a large projection area from a short distance. It comes with a protective cap to avoid damage to the lens when the device is not in use. The projector delivers 4000 ANSI Lumens of brightness and Optoma claims up to 15,000 hours of life for the lamp in Eco+ mode. The GT1080 provides 50,000:1 contrast ratio. The device offers 36.2 to 300 inches of projection size at a distance of 0.4 to 3.4 metres. As the name indicates, the device is capable of projecting High Dynamic Range (HDR) visuals with improved shadow and highlight details.
