The younger sibling of the V20 comes in at a cool 5k cheaper and has mass appeal on its side
-

It’s choice you’re spoilt with here and it is the choice that also tempts. With both phones priced with a mere difference of 5K, what you get in the SE for less money... is more value.
It’s a slim and light device alright and it’s got curved edges which makes it quite nice to hold in the hand. In fact, we prefer the curved architecture of the SE compared to the slightly square-ish feeling that the original V20 has. The back looks understated and classy although it doesn’t feel as good as the polished V20 we experienced before this.
It comes with the same AMOLED display which is on the V20 and it’s standard fair now. It’s a 60Hz panel and gets bright enough for regular Netflix binges under the sun. Vivo gives you the option to tinker around with the colour temperature and tune it to your liking.
You get the Snapdragon 665 chip here with 8GBs of RAM, which is a step-down but it still is quite a performer. Regular tasks are handled well and it doesn’t sweat even when you want to play a round of COD, albeit on lower settings.
