All-New Porsche 911 - Turbo S set for Philippine debut soon

After its global reveal last March, Porsche has announced that it will bring the All-New Porsche 911 Turbo S to the country.

The All-New Porsche 911 Turbo S will come in a Coupe and Cabriolet version. It is powered by a new six-cylinder 3.8-liter boxer engine capable of producing 650 PS and 800 Nm of torque—a full 70 PS and 50 Nm more than its predecessor. The new engine is mated to an 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission that is specific to the Turbo models. This setup allows the car to reach 100 km/h in 2.7 sec., 0.2 sec. quicker than before. However, the car’s maximum top speed remains unchanged at 330 km/h.

“The first 911 Turbo was a real sensation in the ’70s. And with each new generation, we are taking it one step further, making it sharper in design, faster, and more efficient. The Turbo is part of our DNA. It embodies the core brand values of Porsche—dynamics, power output and speed,” said Porsche CEO Oliver Blume during the livestream introduction of the all-new Porsche 911 Turbo S.
