Interactive storytelling at its best.

My Child Lebensborn

For those of you who don’t know, Lebensborn was a project devised by Nazi Germany to increase the Aryan birth rate. The children were born to teenage Aryan women by Nazi officers, and raised in secure nurseries in Germany and eventually throughout various locations in Nazi-occupied Europe. The children, and those mothers who joined them, were treated extraordinarily well as they were considered the ‘master race’. They got two baths a day, lived in a clean environment and received plenty of food at a time when most of Europe was starving.

By the end of the war, the children were moved from their original nurseries, and adopted by other families if their biological mothers couldn’t be located. The animosity the children suffered after the war was the stuff of nightmares, and is presented in Sarepta Studio’s narrative history simulator, My Child Lebensborn.
