Rohit Sharma scored a record-breaking fifth T20 hundred as India needed two Super Overs to beat Afghanistan and claim the three-match series 3-0. Ravi Bishnoi picked two wickets in three balls of

the second Super Over as Afghanistan faltered in its chase of India’s 11-2 after Sharma had followed up his century by hitting a four and a six before being run out. In between, Rinku Singh was caught behind.

In the first Super Over, India needed 17 runs off six balls. Sharma hit two sixes that time before retiring, but Yashaswi Jaiswal failed to score the two runs needed off the last ball as the match ended tied for a second time.

That was after Sharma smashed 121 not out off 69 balls for his fifth T20 hundred and highest T20 score to help India score 212-4 in 20 overs.
