T20Is in 2020 kicked off with India defeating Sri Lanka 2-0 at home at the start of the year. Other prominent face-offs saw India blanking New Zealand 5-0 in New Zealand. England defeated South in South Africa twice -- first 2-1 in February and then 3-0 in November-December. Australia also got the better of Proteas away from home. OPENERS: MOHAMMAD HAFEEZ, TIM SEIFERT (WK)

Even at 40, there is no stopping Mohammad Hafeez. The veteran batsman was the leading T20I run-scorer in 2020 with 415 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 152.57 with four fifties. His best of 99 not out came off 57 balls in the second T20I against New Zealand at Hamilton last week. It was in a losing cause though as the Kiwis hammered Pakistan by nine wickets.
