The BCCI recently announced the Indian squad for the tough tour of South Africa. There were few surprises, but, unfortunately, Ravindra Jadeja, Shubman Gill, and Axar Patel missed out due to injury issues. Ajinkya Rahane has retained his place as a player despite his poor returns in recent times. India will play three Tests in South Africa, starting with the Boxing Day Test from December 26 at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. The Test series will be part of the new cycle of the ICC World Test Championship. Ahead of the start of the three-match series, we analyze what could be India’s best playing XI for the series.
