Indian Pace Bowling Never Had It So Good
Cricket Today
|September 7,2018
there has been a transformation in the Indian new ball attack but it is far to say that the Indian pace bowling has never had it so good as it is these days...

On the eve of the current tour of England Sachin Tendulkar said that the pace attack is one of the best ever in Indian cricket and it is difficult to disagree with this assessment. Indeed as one who has been a witness to the farce that was the Indian opening bowling in the 60s and early 70s I marvel at the metamorphosis in the attack these days. Of course this is nothing new for since the arrival of Kapil Dev in the late 70s there has been a transformation in the Indian new ball attack but it is far to say that the Indian pace bowling has never had it so good as it is these days.
